Earlier this month, the imagineCALGARY initiative was honored with an award from the Canadian Urban Institute. The Natural City Award was presented in recognition of imagineCALGARY’s impact in creating a sustainable community. Learn more here.
Taking The Pulse of the City
Calgarians have until July 8th to take part in the 2009 Vital Signs survey being coordinated by The Calgary Foundation. This annual report includes an online survey that measures quality of life in 12 key areas. Visit the Vital Signs website to learn how you can become a grader.
Plan It Public Hearing Ongoing
The Plan It strategies that emerged from the imagineCALGARY Vision are being reviewed by Calgary’s City Council at a Public Meeting that started June 23rd, and which is expected to continue for the rest of the week. Watch it online at www.calgary.ca or on Shaw digital cable, channel 89.
