On September
6th imagineCALGARY
held its final full-scale
Partner’s meeting.
The meeting was well
attended and provided
an opportunity for
Partners to catch up
on the developments
with imagineCALGARY
since the summer break.
Below are a few key
points of interest:
Peer Review - a
peer review of the imagineCALGARY structures was held over the summer.
Overall, imagineCALGARY received positive comments on the proposed
accountability and resourcing structures.
Committees - As part of
the accountability structure, the designated committees are starting
to fill up with members. Many applications have been received
and an orientation session for new committee members is planned
for October.
Resourcing – There
has been a great deal of progress in resourcing the imagineCALGARY
Committees. These commitments will be finalized in the coming
months.
Planning for the Community Symposium is coming along well.
The committee is awaiting confirmation from the guest speaker before
invitations go out later this month.
The imagineCALGARY Partnership will now break into individual
committees. Work towards the imagineCALGARY Plan will continue to occur
within individual companies as well as collectively through the committee
structure. We look forward to seeing everyone again at the community
symposium in late November!
