Charting Calgary’s Low Carbon Future Sept. 18th
This September, the Summit for Charting Calgary’s Low Carbon Future will help create a framework for achieving many of the built environment (energy) and natural environment Targets from the imagineCALGARY Plan. Learn more about how you can get involved in the Summit here.
City of Calgary Addressing Access to Data/Services
The City of Calgary Council recently passed a motion by Aldermen Joe Ceci and Brian Pincott to investigate improving access to City data and services. A full report is expected by December 2009. This initiative is an important step toward achieving imagineCALGARY Targets that promote access to information: "By 2016, 80 per cent of Calgarians report that they feel government activity is open, honest, inclusive and responsive."

Supporting Newcomers to Canada Peer Learning Event Draws Capacity Crowd
imagineCALGARY’s Collaborative Action Committee hosted its Whole Community Approach to Supporting Newcomers Peer Learning Event on August 18th. The event drew a capacity crowd, with 51 participants representing 21 organizations across the community. Read the September Partners e-news for a full recap of this milestone event.
