City of Calgary Addressing Access to Data/Services
The City of Calgary Council recently passed a motion by Aldermen Joe Ceci and Brian Pincott to investigate improving access to City data and services. A full report is expected by December 2009. This initiative is an important step toward achieving imagineCALGARY Targets that promote access to information: "By 2016, 80 per cent of Calgarians report that they feel government activity is open, honest, inclusive and responsive."

imagineCALGARY’s Collaborative Action Committee hosted its Whole Community Approach to Supporting Newcomers Peer Learning Event on August 18th.
